Sean Smith is Senior Manager of Outreach and Education at the Archives of Ontario. He previously held positions at the Clara Thomas Archives at York University and Library and Archives Canada. In total, he has been preserving and sharing history for over 28 years. During this time, he has consistently focused on making the archives more readily accessible to communities. Over the last three years, this has included specific work related to facilitating access to Indian Residential School records and in exploring ways of sharing the Archives’ narrative voice. He is an active member of the archival community in Canada as well as a runner, a reader and a father of two.
