Margaret Diamond is the Vice Chair of the Children of Shingwauk Alumni Association and brings her experiences as a Survivior of multiple schools, one of the first Indigenous nurses to work in remote Indigenous communities for over 20 years with a dedication to maintaining her language, ties to the land and culture while raising her family despite the intent and impacts of IRS.
