Gerard Wolfe

Emcee

Gerard Wolfe is Anishinaabe from Muskowekwan First Nation, with roots from his father’s side, in the South Chicago Line Métis Settlement of Lestock, Saskatchewan. Gerard is a former Indian Residential School, Day School Survivor, whom had the blessings to work with the Starblanket Cree Nation Indian Residential School Ground Search Project for 3 years as a Ground Search Coordinator.

Gerard has been Emceeing events since 2007, ranging from weddings to large conferences and gatherings. Gerard had the blessings to Emcee for the Muskowekwan Historical Site Group during their plaque memorial reveal in 2025, covered by national media as a historical event. Gerard has been an Emcee for the majority of Starblanket Cree Nation's Residential School gatherings, engagements and public events since 2018.

Equally important, Gerard had the blessing to Emcee multiple Muskowekwan First Nation events, pow wows, Rodeo Events, Cultural Events, Community Events and engagement meetings. Gerard is honored to be scheduled to Emcee Muskowekwan First Nation Historical Site Gathering in 2026.

Gerard is a Social Worker, alumni of the University of Regina, majoring in Research, Sociology and Indigenous Studies. Gerard has a background in Youth Corrections Facility Work, Youth Addictions Treatment Programming, Child Protection/Prevention Management and Child counselling, working with families fleeing domestic violence.

In Gerard's future endeavours, he plans to return to university for his Masters of Social Work Degree and humbly continue to learn and work with our people.
