The Remembering Project is a movement of non-indigenous Canadians who acknowledge the harm our society committed with the residential school system, and commit to supporting survivors in their search for missing and disappeared children. We work with the Nisoonag Partnership in Spanish ON, the Children of Shingwauk Alumni Association in Sault Ste Marie, and the Survivors’ Council in Fort William First Nation. The project is represented at this conference by Ben Rowswell, founder and convenor of the Circle for Democratic Solidarity.
